If you want to customize a good hat, you cannot be sloppy in terms of fabric selection. So what knowledge do you have about the choice of fabric when customizing a hat? Let me share with you the new interpretation of professional custom hats.
There are many fabric styles used in hat customization. According to different methods, the following classifications can be made:
Divided by varieties: hat fabrics include woolen cloth, sequined cloth, satin cloth, knitted cloth, denim, pongee, peach skin, poplin and so on.
Divided by type: There is also the difference between yarn card and sanding. Hat fabric can also be divided into 16*12, 20*20, 30*30 and so on.
According to the cotton content, hat fabrics can also be divided into polyester-cotton plain cloth, all-cotton plain cloth, and all-polyester plain cloth.
To distinguish between polyester-cotton and pure cotton fabrics, the distinction can be made in several ways. Visually, polyester-cotton has a brighter color than pure cotton; if it is printed cloth, the contrast between the front and back of the pure cotton cloth will be greater, while the color of the front and back of the polyester-cotton is closer. In terms of feel, the cotton is soft but not smooth, and the polyester cotton feels a bit slippery. Combustion method, the whole cotton is instant, the flame is yellow, and the burning smell is the same as burning paper. After burning, the edge is soft and soft, leaving few gray-black flocculent ashes. Polyester/cotton will shrink first and then melt when it is close to the flame, giving off thick black smoke, giving off a smell of inferior fragrance. After burning, the edges become hard, and the ashes are dark brown lumps, but they can be twisted.
